Trump said that if the Democrats plan to spend money on taxpayers by launching an investigation into the House of Representatives level, then the Republicans will likely be forced to consider launching investigations into the flow of confidential information and other issues at the Senate level.
He said both sides could play the match.
Asked about possible investigations, White House consultant Kelly Convey said in an interview with CNN that there were no questions the president would ask nervously.
