US President Donald Trump claims he could have stopped the attack on September 11th, catching Osama bin Laden
According to foreign media, Trump has doubled his criticism of Washington's Bin Laden treatment.
He reiterated claims that he knew of bin Laden before the attacks and blamed former US President Bill Clinton for his “munging of his attack”.
Trump also hit retired Admiral William H. McRaven during an interview Sunday night.
McRaven supervised the military operation he requested and killed Al Qaeda chief who carried out the attack at the World Trade Center.
Calling it a <x0ifoz of Hillary Clinton” and “backman of Obama”, Trump stressed that US “would have to get bin Laden much faster”.
We paid Pakistan billions of dollars and they never told us he was living there”, Trump said.
He claimed to have written about the terror leader even in his book of 2000 “America we deserve”.
Parts of the book simply mention jihad as an example of US foreign policy and do not anticipate terrorist attacks.
Bin Laden's murder by the US team of Navy Seal 6 in a bold raid after a decade-long action was seen as one of Trump's greatest achievements, Obama.
