Through a Swiss Embassy announcement reportedly called on local and central public institutions to hair financial resources for their work.

Switzerland's “Embassy welcomes the recent adoption of Administrative Guide 17/2018 for the establishment and functioning of Teaching Centres from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, which calls public institutions at the local and central level to provide financial resources for their work”, the embassy report said.

“Zvicra, through the Swiss Co-operation Office project for Social Inclusion, has financially supported the creation and functioning of post-school centres for a number of years. These centers have shown great support for vulnerable children and have shown good results. Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian children make up the largest number of followers of these” centers, says the report.

Among other things, the Swiss embassy has estimated that the Roma community, ashales and Egypt are still marginalised in Kosovo society.

“Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian municipalities are still marginalised communities in Kosovo society. The strategy for the inclusion of Roma and Ashkalines 2017-2021 is in place, but the Government of Kosovo must invest more in the education of these communities to help their integration”, the communiqué said.
Therefore, Switzerland's Ambassador Z. Jean-Hubert Lebet encourages parliament to review and adopt a budgetary line in 2019 for supporting this” category, the announcement has concluded.
