Kosovo's government has met a permanent condition of the Serbian List about the privatisation of social property found in Serb majority municipalities.
At today's meeting, the Government has approved the demands of northern Mitrovica municipalities, Ranillug and Klokoti for withdrawing from the privatisation process of all social property located in these municipalities.
Through this decision, ownership of all social property has been owned by the municipalities themselves in question, writes the Economic Bulletin.
The government has approved proposals from the Ministry of Local Power Management to approve the demands of northern Mitrovica municipalities, Ranillug and Klokoti for withdrawing from the privatisation process and returning to the ownership of the municipality of real estate and objects with the aim of realising public interest projects”, the government's announcement said after the meeting.
Otherwise this requirement for halting privatisation in Serb majority municipalities has been the constant condition of the Serbian List over the years.
We remember that the Serbian List had received assurances from the ruling coalition, as well as between PDK and LDK, that the privatisation of social property in these municipalities would not happen.
