It is said that it is unacceptable that the circumstances of Dehar's death have not yet been clarified until they have called on the Government to speed up this case.
The Vetevendosje movement has published the letter by the Socialist International in connection with the Astrit Dehar case.
This letter says it is unacceptable that the circumstances of Dehar's death have not yet been clarified, and it is called on the government to honour and respect the rights of Astrit Dehar and his family, to speed up the dawning of this case, as well as to co-operate fully and without delay with the independent investigation under way at the Swiss Legal Medicine Centre.

Albin Kurti
Speaker of Movement V EVIDENCE!

Dear Mayor, dear friend,
As we commemorate today the second anniversary of the sad death of the V Movement General Council member Astrit Dehar, who died in prison while being held without execution, we express our consideration and solidarity to you, family and friends.
It is completely unacceptable that after two years the circumstances of his tragic death have not yet been clarified and that justice has not yet been established. We welcomed the decision made by the government in February 2018 to allow an independent investigation by the “University Law Medicine Centre Romand<2>, (CUTML), Switzerland, but we remain deeply concerned about delays in closing this process, suggesting that the late “justice is justice denied”.
We take the opportunity to appeal to the government to honour and respect the rights of Astrit Dehar and his family, to speed up the dawning of this case, as well as to co-operate fully and without delay with the independent investigation under way at the Swiss Legal Medicine Centre.
The global political family of the Socialist International, whose member is Movement V THE event will continue to follow closely.
