The slaughter of animals in the dangerous car market, no one gets the blame

Veterinary doctors blame AVU, while the latter are not represented by the reasoning that they are not competent to talk about the problem. While the Foundation for Animal Rights says its demands for these violations have repeatedly run into deaf ears from AVUK.

Veterinary physician Ilirian Yusuf, in this regard, has blamed the Veterinary and Food Agency, adding that the slaughter should not be done in open areas.

These must be made in separate slaughters that are standardized, do not have to be allowed. It's the work of the Kosovo Veterans and Food Agency. They are responsible, as are the inspectors for the quick ban on the slaughter in this form. It is not allowed because the first to establish a certain country is responsible AUV is not allowed to be slaughtered in open environments, where blood is spilled and the environment is contaminated. Because even the flesh does not have the value of being nutritious, it cannot be slaughtered in open environments. He is slaughtered outside any standard where there are no conditions for hygiene”, Yusuf said.

The flesh of these slaughtered animals is harmful for consumption, for it is contaminated with bacteria. Yusuf warns citizens to be careful what they consume because they endanger their health.

“Dations are multiple, that meat is contaminated with bacteria that are around. This meat can't be thrown into the market and used. It must be strictly prohibited and put on a triangle seal, or be given on bail, or strictly prohibit the use of that meat for human use. It has nothing to do with qualities of the flesh, as it is contaminated as it comes into contact with the earth. Also, the means by which they slaughter the animal do not meet standards. We are not at all protected”, he said.

The Animal Rights Foundation has also reacted in this regard. The founder of this foundation, Elza Ramadani, for The KP has stressed that cutting these animals is being done by young men who have no permission to perform such an act.

In these markets, there are also the terrible images of young boys who slaughter chickens for their clients, behind their vehicle. This is forbidden by law. All animal livestock and consumer birds must be slaughtered only in the respective slaughters, which are licensed and authorized by inspectors and AVUK. But more shocking than cutting those birds and animals, it's the fact that minor boys who slaughter animals are first illegal, since administrative instruction prohibits the work of minors at the slaughter. Second, they are without adequate workwear and covered with the blood of slaughtered animals. Their nails, their hands that smoked cigarettes, were uncleaned, and they worked in terrible hygienic conditions. The style of such work can cause serious illness for those children and all of us”, Ramadan warns.

The Foundation for Animal Rights has been demanding an accounting for these violations for a year now, repeatedly submitting requests to AVUK, but the latter has not responded to their demands.

Kosova Prees has tried to get an answer from AVUK, but officials from this institution have suggested contact with the Pristina Community, with the argument that they are not competent in the matter. But neither the Pristina Community Media Office nor the Inspectorate have responded to calls to discuss the matter. / K SP
