The UN Security Council today will review Antonio Guterres' report on Kosovo. The Security Council's first agenda is the situation in Somalia. After that, ambassadors to the UN will review Antonio Guterres' report on the Kosovo issue.
China has turned the Kosovo issue into the agenda of the world organisation's most powerful body after a six-month break, which was the result of opposition from the United States, Britain and France to discuss the issue every three months.
Guterres has warned that despite the peace he has ruled in Kosovo in the past three months, several incidents, which are the product of interethnic tensions, have been recorded in the report.
Also, Guterres has welcomed Belgrade and Pristina's commitment to reaching an agreement through dialogue.
He has added that provocative statements by Serbian and Kosovo leaders have troubled Kosovo Serbs.
