According to Serbian media, mainly citizens of the northern part of Mitrovica are present at the protest.
They, reportedly further, have been addressed to North Mitrovica Mayor Goran Rakic, who about an hour ago, along with the mayors of three other Serb municipalities in northern Kosovo, resigned.
“We want to send a clear message to the media, Pristina and Brussels that this protest is calm and we don't want anyone to get out of context”, Rakiq was quoted as saying.
While, according to Tanjug, Rakiq has told protesters that from today there is no Pristina system in the north.
