Prosecution Tests for Top LDK Official

According to Prizren Foundation Prosecutor's Act, which he has secured KALLXO.com, Sali Aslanaj from the date 01.09.2014 to 27,11.2014, in the quality of the official person ʹ head of the Suhareka municipality, using its official position, exceeds its competences in order to benefit any other person.

According to the indictment at the same time, by causing damage to the budget of the Republic of Kosovo, Sali Aslan has knowingly violated the law regarding his duties and misused the property that has fallen into his care as a result of his duty.

The incident further elaborates the actions of the accused Sali Aslanaj.

According to the indictment, Aslanaj in opposition to the Public Procurement Law and the Public Finance Management Law, without tender procedure, signed on behalf of the Suhareka municipality “Agreement on Consumption Agreement” between the Suhareka Commission and <2> Cosovo Hope”, which Berat Gegaj represented.

This agreement concerned the project “student transport”, this deal worth 22.390.00 euros.

Further the indictment explains that Sali Aslanaj in 01.09.2014 allows the NGO “Kosovo Hope” to contract “Saba Tours” for carrying students to the village of Nisor ShFMU “Bayram Curri”, based allegedly on the co-finance agreement through it and representatives of the NGO, which the agreement is later connected, so in 08.10.2014, reports Kalxo.

According to the indictment, Sali Aslanaj does not take care of the overall implementation of this agreement by the NGO “Kosovo Hope”, with what it has caused damage to Kosovo's budget in value of the amount of 10,556.00 euros.

The same indictment includes Sheriff Berisha, in the quality of the director of the Municipal Education Directorate in Suhareka and Milazim Hajdari, in the quality of ShFMU director “Bairam Curri” of the village of Nisor.

The Basic Prosecutor's Act of Prizren charges Sheriff Berisha with criminal abuse of office or official authority, because from 16,09.2014, up to 27.11.2014 in Suhareka, in quality of the director of the Municipal Education Directorate of Suhareka, exploiting his official position, exceeds his competencies with the aim of benefiting any other person, while at the same time causing damage to Kosovo's budget. With this same case, he has knowingly violated the law regarding his duties and misused his wealth as a result of his duty.

According to the indictment of US Sheriff Berisha's incriminating actions linked to that during the management of the “Agreement on Constance with co-finance <xx1> between the Suhareka Commission and “Cosovo Hope”, this agreement concerned the project “The transfer of students”, accused of acting contrary to the Public Procure Law's legal provisions, as allowed by the school director”bari <x>, the village of Nisyriadarim to carry out reports to the students in the 16202014th until the end of the programme. Saba Tours”, supposedly this operator has carried out the student transport service at the Bresca relocation School and vice versa.

According to the indictment, also for the same time period accused Sheriff Berisha has issued three reports to the operator “Shiproni Tours”, causing damage to Kosovo's budget worth 6,372.00 euros because this amount was paid to “Saba Tours”, for the service she had not performed, as well as the damage of 3,984.72 Euro, because Sheriff Bajrami as responsible for project management had not asked the means that had not been spent from the total investment section to “The agreement on co-finance” with the NGO “Kosovo Hope”.

While school principal “Bajram Curri”, third indictee Milazim Hajdari, according to the indictment from 08.10.2014 to 25.08.2016, in the village of Nisor, has compiled reports of bringing students to the period from 16,09.2014 to 27.11.2014.

Same economic operator “Saba Tours” and release reports of NTSH” Call Tours”, supposedly this operator carried out the student transport service at the Brescia RH, and vice versa, which is which the NGO “Cosovo Hope” reportedly makes the payment of vehicles for this operator, which the transport had not actually carried out by the economic operator “Saba Tours”

The indictment further explains that the same period of time referred to as higher has issued three reports to the operator NTSH “Call the Tours”, causing damage to Kosovo's budget worth 6,572.00 euros.

According to the prosecution, he has committed the criminal act of abuse of office or official authority.

The initial review of the case will be held on 19 November at the Prizren Court.
