Citizens of Kosovo who dump inappropriate waste will be punished with mandated fines. The deadline for paying these fines, according to administrative direction, will be 15 days from the day of the proclamation of the sentence.
The person pays the fine within the deadline, will pay only half the fine, said political adviser at the Environment Ministry, Valon Maliqi.
The Administrative Direction has already entered into force, and Kosovo inspectors and police are doing their job. Those who are being fined have 15 days to pay at 50% cheaply, and if they don't pay the fine, bank accounts will be blocked through private accounts”, he said.
Maliqi said that each month they will have monthly reports by Kosovo Police and municipal inspectors to see how this instruction is being improvised.

This Administrative Administrator's guidance is based on the law on waste and is aimed at preventing waste from being thrown out of designated places for their disposal, elimination and reduction of pollution, environmental protection and human health, protection of public and private surfaces from pollution.
