Kosovo police have confirmed that in northern Mitrovica, with the Court's orders, several raids have been carried out that concern the continuation of investigations into Oliver Ivanovic's murder case. During this action three people have been arrested under suspicion that they are linked to the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, while the fourth has been arrested to prevent police officials during the arrest of others. Meanwhile, police confirm Milan Radocici is also on the run.
Kosovo Police Special Forces ROSU, today four people have been arrested in Mitrovica, reportedly in connection with the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, which occurred on 16 January this year.
During this action, police have announced that they have found and seized some relevant evidence linking to the murder case of politician Oliver Ivanovic.
Police announce those arrested are N.S.R. D. M, A.C., while still searching for Milan Radojicicci.
This is the police communique:
Kosovo police, namely, the Directorate for Investigation of the Criminals under the leadership of the Special Prosecutor of the RKS, as well as in support of the other special police units, today, in 23.11.2018, after several months of investigation and on the court's orders, have conducted checks at four locations in the town of Mitrovica-North.
Four (4) individuals have been arrested in this operation, three (3) suspected of involvement in criminal work, serious murder”, and another (1) has been arrested for resisting and preventing police officials during the investigation and arrest of suspects in question.
Suspects already arrested are;
1. N.S. 1976 birth year, M/ S/K, an official police leader in northern Mitrovica.
2. M.R. 1993 birth year, M/S/K;
3. D.M. 1970 birth year, M/ S/K, also police official in north Mitrovica.
4. A.C. 1965 birth year, M/S/K;
While the person who still remains in search of police, since it has not been found at its location is;
5. M.R. Year of birth 1978 also M/S/K;
Kosovo police during the search at these locations have also seized some relevant evidence that relates to the case, evidence that will be prosecuted under legal procedure.
All further actions about the case and the persons arrested will be undertaken in consultation and co-ordination with justice bodies, or the competent prosecutor of the case.
