LDK MP Arben Gashi has said the extraordinary session called by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj is meaningless.
He has said that even yesterday, with the prime minister himself, it has been agreed that this session could even be postponed after he said, it is not the prime minister's jurisdiction to call in hearings to review second reading bills.
The prime minister has no right to call an extraordinary hearing for second reading of the bills because it is not his competence. He has the right to call an extraordinary session but not for second review of the bills. So this session has no object.”, Gashi said.
Albulen Haxhiu from VV also said this session is meaningless.
The government does not have the right to set the decision to review second reading bills. The government can't interfere with the work of the Parliament, that's violation of the Constitution, that's the division of powers. At times the president intervenes in justice, once in the Parliament, once the head of the Parliament in the government, so there is a continuing violation of the division of responsibilities”, Haxhiu has said./Periscopi/
