The Skopje Court's Criminal Council has dismissed all complaints filed by former Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski for the decision issued earlier, where he was sentenced to two years in prison.
Gruevski was convicted of misusing public money. He had purchased a car called Mercedes, worth 600 thousand euros.
The decision has entered into force immediately, and has been handed over to the parties, which practically Gruevski will go to jail, as he accepts the verdict, writes b92.
Today, Macedonia's Assembly has voted for the removal of an MP's mandate for Gruevski, but for that, most MPs have not voted.
Even so, Gruevski is expected to receive the MP's salary even during the time he is in prison.
