Firefighters Turn to Protests

The Fireworkers Union has announced that during tomorrow's day, a press conference will be organised at BSPK offices, where the public and institutions related to the decisions and attitudes of the Firefighters Union to start applying for the union measures, “reactivating the protest”.

This response is due to accruing problems created in this necessary emergency service and the unwillingness of institutions to solve problems which consistently convey this emergency service”, said Fire Union Chairman Muharrem Beka.

Firefighters have already had protests, where they have sought better working conditions and wage increases, overhauling their statute. /
