A 6.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in the waters of Norway. Norwegian NORSAR Earthquake Center announced that the earthquake occurred at sea between the volcanic island Jan Mayen and Greenland.
Earthquake has not caused victims or material damage.
Norwegian news agency NTB reported that a team of 18 people, including soldiers and meteorologists, live on the volcanic island of Jan Mayen.
NO RSAR warned the quake after the quake, but sounded no alarm for the tsunami.
