European MPs voted on Wednesday a level of phone and SMS costs towards another European Union country, as well as the creation of an emergency reporting device.
This voting text with 584 votes for (42 against) coming under an agreement reached in June with the Council representing member states limits to 19 cents (euro) per minute the price of an international telephone.
This law, to be implemented by May 15th, 2019, stipulates that an SMS will cost 6 cents (euro).
During a first stage, in 2017, the EU had put an end to additional tariffs (Roming), enabling people travelling to another European country to use the phone with the same extra costs, Arsh follows.
