During his speech at the meeting with the two governments in Pec, Rama extended an invitation to Haradinaj to start work by the two foreign ministries for drafting a joint strategy for uniting Albanians by 2025.
Rama added that Albania cannot wait indefinitely for the EU in terms of accession to this body, as Kosovo is tired of waiting for visa liberalisation.
By stopping at agreements between the two countries, Rama said within the next six-month, there will be 0 taxes on customs between Albania and Kosovo, while 100% taxes in the north -- namely, in the Kosovo-Serbia cure.
Prime Minister Edi Rama stated at the joint meeting of the government of Albania and Kosovo that Kosovo's normalised <x0-area is key to final regional stabilisation”.
For Albania, Kosovo is an independent, sovereign state, with democratic regime, guarantee and normalisation of which is key to final regional stabilisation”, Rama stressed.
The head of the Albanian government added that the international “does not recognise half-states and does not recognise half-humans”, underlining that “so we are disappointed by the EU's approach to Kosovo independence and the free movement of its citizens”.
“Interpol was a discouraging show for showing potential partners in the region”, Rama added.
