The popular doctor, who is otherwise known as Burdushi under the decision to start investigations, is suspected of four criminal acts.
Burdushi, according to the prosecutor, is suspected of illegal exercise of medical activity, fraud, avoidance of taxation and unauthorized possession of weapons.
The plea for mass detention had been rejected by Burdush's lawyers, saying their defender is being unjustly persecuted.
