Citaku speaks strongly at UN: Kosovo is youth state, Majlinda Kelmendi and Distria Krasniqi

Kosovo Ambassador to the US Vlora Citaku spoke of the war in Kosovo, as well as the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Albanians.

Citaku cited the reality of war, of the 20 thousand women raped, as well as thousands of others killed.

After World War II, Kosovo became the arena of war. More than one million Kosovars were thrown out of the country, all part of the ethnic cleansing that took place. Twenty thousand women were given and dozens were killed. These are not easily forgotten, especially when Serbia refuses to take responsibility for them. There was no moral responsibility in this war. There were invaders and invaders. And they all knew who was conquered and occupied”, she said.

She continued her speech, saying Kosovo has changed.

According to her, Kosovo is a state of youth, Majlinda Kelmendi and Distria Krasniqi.

We are not victims of yesterday's day, we are champions today. As Kosovars, we will not allow our past to be defined. We are the state of Majlinda and the women who have established Kosovo based solely on their own capabilities. We are the new Republic that has been recognised by most countries in the world. We are determined to make every possible effort, and not let the northern neighbour undermine our efforts”,

Citaku also spoke of President Thaci's visit to Weyman, the issue Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic complained about.

Kosovo's “president can visit any part of Kosovo without asking permission from anyone. No incidents occurred that day. The incident unfortunately occurred the next day that the owner of the bar was attacked by bomb from parallel structures in the north”.

Kosovo's US ambassador also spoke of UNMIK, which it said is a mission based on a past reality and not in current circumstances.

“U n NMIC is no longer a peacekeeping and administrative mission. The illustration of this is Resolution 1244 itself, where it refers to an alternative reality a reality that no longer exists”, he said.

Kosovo is independent and will now be forever. These sessions do not help peace and dialogue. This table has been turned into a theater, has been misused to influence our country's populations”, she added.

Meanwhile earlier, the Serbian Foreign Minister in his speech complained about President Thaci's visit to Weman, Ivanovic's murder and recognitions.
