Bosnia in trouble: I. They want to return home.

Thousands of women, who accompanied men in Syria and Iraq, were stuck in suffering, often with small children.
Among them is Sara (a nickname), the so-called widow I SIS, one of many whose men were killed in the Islamic State, leaving them alone with small children. She and the children currently live in Roy's Islamic State refugee camp in northern Syria, hoping to return to their homeland, writes Politico.
Sarah left Bosnia for Syria in March 2015 with her husband, a fundamentalist with whom she met on the internet. Her mother, Layla, begged her not to go, but she was in the front row during the war in Bosnia as a humanitarian worker and knew what war zones looked like.
I was shocked when he wrote to me from Syria. I barely came to my senses when she got married, but that was unimaginable”, she says.
Layla, concerned by the situation her daughter is in, cannot contact the Bosnian government for help. But she has contacted two other families whose daughters and sisters are in the same camp. They jointly hope to persuade the authorities to return them to the country, with their nine children.
The widows live in a kind of purgatory, their uncertain position is the result of a complicated issue, as with the return of foreign fighters and their families, who may be radicalised. Numerous officials exploit the complex situation as a tactic for delaying the problem.
I have to be honest and say, we don't want them back. Or give me the papers, go to Syria, and return my daughter and grandchildren”, says Layla.
About 300 people from Bosnia and Herzegovina went to the battlefields in Syria and Iraq. They have been recruited by many sides, including extremists, video campaigns and social networks. Fenomen also relates to the Bosnian history of attracting foreign mercenaries. During the war in Bosnia, there were between 1,800 and 3,000 foreigners -- mainly from Iran, Afghanistan and Arab countries -- broadcast Kosovo Press.
Some remained to preach fundamentalism and radical beliefs. At least 50 “foreign fighters” returned from the Islamic state to Bosnia, according to analysts from the Atlantic Initiative of the Azinovic Government.
The “all returnees are under observation, but at the moment they do not pose a threat”, he said.
Bosnia has a problem because it does not own a programme for the doordelicism of foreign fighters. The case of jihadist widows is complicated, since they claim they have not participated in war and as such can be judged.
Their relatives claim that they were obliged to go to war - torn territory with their husbands. In the eyes of the authorities, however, they represent a potential threat, as well as their children, who are officially without citizenship. Bosnian authorities seek DNA testing for these children before deciding to grant citizenship.
Aleme Dola enemies is one of I's widows' relatives SIS. The other “people are ashamed because of links to the Islamic state in the family, but not me,”, she says.
Her sister Alina also met with her finalistic husband on the internet. In 2014 she moved with him to Vienna, after which they migrated to Syria. When her husband died during a war in the summer of 2017, Alina moved to a particular house for widows and single mothers.
She and four other women pay for their smuggling across the border to Turkey, hoping to contact their countries' embassies.
Another mother, Senija Muhamedovic, has a history similar to her daughter Mia 31. We were not at all religious. We were surprised when we were suddenly married and started a nikkab, not talking to male family members,”
Mia went to Syria in April 2015, where she was widowed after several months. She was twice in Syria, which is not unusual among women in her situation.
I see the similarities between these girls. It all fascinated the Internet. They were all young and beautiful, and they were not aware that they were wrong”, Leyla adds.
All three families regularly speak through whatsApp, and Dolamus is regularly responsible for organising and informing other families about the situation.
Authorities respond very slowly to any request and only send them from the ministry to the ministry or from embassy embassies. Last month, the Foreign Ministry handed over the whole case to the Security Ministry, and now, in Dolam's words, they must send a representative who will reveal all their widows and children. The deadlines, of course, have not been decided.
If we say nothing, our government will do nothing”, she claims.
The Roy camp also has the Red Cross, but life conditions are terrible. Aline's 8-year-old daughter recently received tuberculosis and she told her sister that she had no drinking water for days.
Even when he returns to Bosnia, life will not be easy. The repetition of life in a Bosnian town and the treatment of a widow of terrorists will not be easy.
It made a big mistake. He's suffered a lot, but he deserves to get home”, says Dola enemy.
