Six more bets closed at Ferizaj.

According to a statement from the municipality, these locals were operating without the necessary sanitation conditions, without business documentation and contrary to the legal requirements of law in power regulating this area.

However, most of them do not have a business certificate at all, nor do minimum-technical conditions for the development of the event. The closure of these establishments has been processed with the opening of the procedure near the justice organs, and as such, several months of action has dramatically reduced the number of such businesses that have operated in Ferizaj”, said a report by the Ferizaj municipality.

Ridvan Berisha, co-ordinator of the Municipal Inspectorate, said they are committed to zero tolerance of such businesses that each day favour fiscal informality and endanger the welfare of citizens.

Ferizaj is the national champion municipality for controlling the event. So far, the Municipal Inspectorate has closed over 20 betting and casino points, reaching even to collect from their debts to the municipality over 500 thousand, funds to be used for investments in public health and civic welfare”, the municipality reports.
