So says the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the latest 2019 Transition Report.
Albania ranked after Gaza and Bosnia, while the EURZH estimated that 40 per cent of the population still living within the country by 2017 has emigrated, tch broadcasts.
Migration rates in the EURZH regions have been steadily higher than the global average. In 2017, 9.7 percent of all people born in the EURZH regions either maintained the citizenship of a country in these regions have lived outside their native countries.
Goals to emigrate increased between 2010 and 2015. In the EURZH regions, more than 3 percent of respondents indicated that they had intended to migrate in 2015, compared to 1.8 percent in 2010.
A similar trend has been observed in countries with comparable income levels. In absolute terms, this data suggests that around 20 million people in the EURZH regions have emigrated abroad in 2015.
