The explosion occurred in the town of Calaya near the border with Afghanistan. Government officials announced that the bomb was hidden in a vegetable ark.
Local authorities report that victims belong to the Muslim Shiite community, and expect the death to be increased as many people have suffered injuries.
A few hours ago, two policemen were killed and a security guard was wounded in an attack on the consulate of China in the Pakistani town of Karachi.
A separatist group, called the Baluccistan Liberation Army, said it has carried out the attack.
