The reaction of this association comes after, according to them, Kosovo's institutions have left behind and are ignoring civilian injuries from mines.
Their full response to Prime Minister Haradinaj's address:
”Z. Prime Minister. When I read your statement that LGBT will have the support of institutions made me depressed, not because they will have the support of this part of society, nor have I been against anyone's support.
I want to mention a category, the Civil Invalids War category. Which since the war remained in the mercy of foreign organizations and a heavy burden to their families.
Categori this was never mentioned by the people of institutions, not to have support. This category was ignored for dating, although their blood was part of Independence.
People in this category live in serious health and social conditions, their condition only gets worse and worse. When it is known that some of them have lost their limbs and need prosthetic equipment, no one gets it. Protheses for these people are part of the body because they complete the lost part.
Social status. The pensions that people in this category enjoy cannot provide even existence, that not even the regulation of prosthetics or the fulfillment of our children's demands. Since 2014 this category never had a pension increase, from all war categories and the category of persons with limited abilities. Civil intervals are the most ignored and forgotten category.
This category is ignored in other professions as high Czech categories enjoy them.
So Mr. Prime Minister. I'm begging you to think about this category. You review the requests you have in your archives and become something good for this part of the citizens. And whatever you have to do, let it be. Because we're not asking for a bark or something that doesn't belong to us. We seek to be treated as other categories. Because the requirements for living are the same.
People of this category are dying every day, dying without a single day, not knowing even for We have institutions.
Civilly wounded association from Minat”
