Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has asked his Austrian counterpart to refrain from voting for Kosovo's membership in Interpol.
Vuciq has said that Kosovo's accession to this organisation would open at least two problems.
“The first is that Albanians would no longer want to talk about anything, only that they will expect the next step, membership in the OSCE and the UN. They're going to take sides, and they won't want to compromise. Serbia will not bow this pressure, and we will come to a dead end of” has said Vuciq.
Similarly, he has said that Kosovo's membership in Interpol would increase the number of pages of arrests against 5 thousand Serbs who have participated in the 1999 conflict.
He has said that <x0) these people would not know if they could travel and thus create tensions on a daily basis and other conflicts”.
I don't see any good from Kosovo's entry into Interpol” has said Vuciq. For Kosovo's accession to the international police organisation, it will be voted during November in Dubai. Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has said the West is working on foot and hands for this to happen.
