The Islamic Community of Kosovo's electoral body today votes for the election of the mufti for the new 2018-2023 mandate.
The meeting is held in the conference room at BIK's Headship Headquarters with the beginning of 12:00.
Mufti Naim Ternava and BIK leader Reshat Mexhiti are in the race for the post.
For both of these candidates will vote on the electoral body, which consists of 28 Assembly delegates, the 28 heads of the Kosovo Islamic Community Councils in 28 municipalities, as well as a representative from Medreseja and one from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences.
Since 13 years Ternava is Kosovo's mufti, completing three mandates at the helm of the most important institution of Islamic confidence in the country.
