Initially, police had stopped a car around 23:15 on Monday in the sector “dani”. There were three people in the car, and a small quantity of marijuana was found in one of them.
Then detailed control has been exercised, which has resulted in the finding of a 500-euro bank owner to the second suspect, police have announced that, in terms of the case, the state prosecutor has been informed of the course of the investigation and has been asked to receive approval by the court for the raid of a house suspected of counterfeit money.
After securing authorisation, a house on the “Rruste Kabashi” has been searched and selected 458 500 euro notes worth 229,000 euros.
After the interview, the suspect has been detained under police arrest.
