The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo has named it a false news and production of Belgrade -- the Serbian minister's claim, Dacic -- that the Republic of Lesothos has drawn recognition of the Republic of Kosovo.

Such actions from Belgrade are coming to the time when the Republic of Kosovo is trying to factor in the international rank.

“As if even in the past this '%documentʹ was produced in Belgrade to create a false news story, just when Kosovo is at the largest rate of factoring it into powerful international organisations, while Serbian diplomacy does not own any instrument to prevent this process. The only effect of this communication of Belgrade and such documents -- except that daily news -- has failed to produce anything” -- is said in response.

From the MPJ, they say such actions of Serbia are continuing their detrusive approach to the progress of the Republic of Kosovo.

Full response:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo is giving more attention to Serbia's destructive approach to the creation of false news, with the aim of spreading propaganda and conspiracy concerning developments in the region, and especially about Kosovo.

It is especially disturbing that some of these news reports are received and spread by different media in the region and sometimes even in Kosovo.

It has already been confirmed that Serbia's claims concerning the alleged withdrawal of several recognitions from countries like Gunia Bissau, Liberia, Ghana have never been true, except in the fiction and imagination of some lonely figures in Belgrade.

It is time for leaders in Serbia to understand that the successes of the Republic of Kosovo, like the one in Armenia, cannot stop or be kept hidden. On the contrary, there were some of those countries for which Serbia claimed to be reconsidering the issue of recognition, which were in favour of advancing the status of the Republic of Kosovo from the observer country instead of associate.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also carefully conveyed and analysed President Vucic's recent statement about his claims that Western countries are strongly supporting Kosovo in its goals for membership in other international organisations. We want to recall these figures in Belgrade, that the West and Republic of Kosovo are going to continue their full and harmonious partnership, not only in the process of membership in international organisations, but also in all the agendas in which democracy, rule of law, the fight against organised crime and international terrorism, require the active evolution of Kosovo.

As in the past, this document has been produced in Belgrade to create false news, precisely when Kosovo is at the largest rate of factoring in powerful international organisations, while Serbian diplomacy does not own any instrument to prevent this process. The only effect of this communication by Belgrade and such documents, except that daily news, has failed to produce anything.

For the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the issue of the democratic deficit in Serbia is a question that is carried out not only the region, but also the West sees as problematic, however, the Republic of Kosovo through its strategic partnership will manage the negative international reflections of this deficit, which starts by Vucic and Dacic.

The practice of exploiting false news does not coincide with the need to meet the democratic criteria required by the European Union, nor with the goals of promoting constructive culture among neighbouring countries in the Balkan region.
