Thaci's insulting arguments to borders

Some of them view the reasoning that the head of State uses when trying to argue with the idea as scoffing, writes Koha Ditore today.

Thaci insists on it, however, that not only the opposition has been imposed, but also the political subjects in the coalition, as well as civil society. He has said he will give up the idea only if someone convinces him that, without “correction” borders, he provides the recognition of the state by the five European Union member states that refuse to do so. And the countries that have not declared this recognition are: Spain, Greece, Romania, Slovakia and Cyprus.

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has said recognition by some of these countries could be secured, if in that direction the energy spent on “correction” of borders.

I was impressed yesterday: Wessel said the exchange of territories or border change is the idea of Serbia and Russia. The idea of moving with borders, with territories, is disturbing. I'm against it, and I don't think it's the solution for anything ahead of us. How can we get the recognitions of these countries if the energy we take today in discussing the borders we had to get recognitions? Maybe Greece, Romania, Slovakia had recognised us so far. So, we need to focus on this” job, Haradinaj said after the Government meeting. “The corrections device is dead. The idea of correction, change, playing with territories has died”.
