The chairman of the Vushtrri municipality, Xhafer Tahiri, has strongly supported one of the surviving victims of sexual violence during the Kosovo war, Vasfije Krasniqi Goodman, as she told the public the entire event of her experiences.
Through a Facebook status, Tahiri has said that Vasfije Krasniqi is the pride of Vushtari and Kosovo.

“Buqa (Vasphije Krasniqi) today is the pride of Vushtrri and Kosovo. She, today before the whole world, boldly pointed out the experiences of sexual violence committed during the recent war by Serbian police.
As chairman of Vushtrria as a childhood friend, as a cosie, Me and all of Kosovo today, we are with you, we feel your pain, but we are proud of you.
Our freedom is not complete without the trial of sexual violence crimes. The bread will soon be in Hagga for the Nobel peace winner to tell the most painful story of the Kosovo war. We're with you to support you at every step until justice is achieved, and criminals get deserved punishment. ”
