From information provided by newspapers from safe sources, Deputy Minister Chen was not part of the police investigation. The investigations were launched weeks earlier when a citizen had announced to the Kosovo Police that Hazer Shehu, owner of the company “Gentle Research”, which does draft business plans for the benefit of grants from donors, had asked him to bribe the grant. Police in co-ordination with the State Attorney through simulation methods have begun investigating the case.
Shala and Shehu have been being bugged by police, but not also Deputy Prime Minister Cenna. Until Saturday, it was scheduled for the citizen to hand over the money through secret measures part of the investigation to be made, too, Cena.
