Young people in Great Britain are staying away from alcohol, says a newly published study.
Researchers studied the health records of the last decade and concluded that a third of the 16-24-year-old group members in 2015 had claimed not to consume alcohol.
The figure was one in five people, in 2005.
Overarching drinking has also suffered a decline; from 27% in 2005 to 18% in 2015, based on data from England's Health Survey, the BBC reports.
At least 10,000 people were surveyed as the results clearly show a clear decrease in the consumption of alcohol by young people.
