Serbian List: We'll do our best to stop the transformation of KSF into the Army.

The Serbian list is continuing to reject the transformation of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) into the Kosovo Armed Forces.

During yesterday's Kosovo Assembly Chiefship has held meetings in which before MPs he presented the Government's proposals for transforming KSF into the Ammotrated Force.

After this meeting, Kosovo Assembly head Kadri Wessel declared that Kosovo's military would take place this year, regardless of the budget.

However, despite the insistence of Kosovo institutions on forming Kosovo's army, the Serbian List is continuing to reject its formation.

Slavko Simi has told Serbian Radio Television, that the Serbian List will oppose this, as according to him, the formation of the Kosovo Army will also affect Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, broadcast news.net.

According to Simifi forming the army can also harm the peace and stability of Serbs living in Kosovo.

“Such laws are not in the interest of the Serbian people living in Kosovo and Metohija, and will surely cause incalculable damage to the dialogue process between Belgrade and Pristina. That is even contrary to UN Resolution 1244, which is still in force. Army formation will also harm the peace and stability of Serbs who fare in Kosovo, and Metohija”, Siqim told “RTS”

According to him, Kosovo has submitted “Plan B” to the establishment of the military, through the bill and not through constitutional changes.

And in this regard, foes said, the Serb List with Belgrade's support will try to politically challenge the introduction of this law, broadcasts news.net.

We remember that against the formation of the Kosovo Army, Serbian political spectrum -- even during today's Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq -- stated that the formation of the Kosovo Army would cause fear and anxiety in the region.

In addition to Serb deputies who are consistently opposing the formation of the Kosovo Army, Albanian MPs and other minorities in the Kosovo Assembly are pro-transforming the KSF, despite the fact that now and many weeks it has been blocked due to lack of quorum through sessions.

Albanian deputies in the Kosovo Assembly have expressed the establishment of the Kosovo Army through a draft law, not through constitutional changes.
