Serbian Defence Minister Alexander Vulin has said that under the order they have received from Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, the Serbian Army is continuing to be on alert.
He has said that the army will be in a state of readiness, until the Metohija in Kosovo is clarified.
“The security situation in all of Serbia's territory is continuing to be monitored closely, we still have no indication that something negative is happening”, has told Vulin journalists in Vranje, after being asked about Vucinqi's order to increase the state of willingness of the Serbian Army, and especially in Bujanoc, Presevo and Medvedja, Periscope broadcast.
However, Volin has said that the high state of military readiness is not only in this part but in the entire territory of the country.
The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Serbia has issued an order yesterday to be in a state of readiness. We will continue this situation as long as the situation in Kosovo is not clear up to perfection, but there is still no indication that Serbs living in this region are threatened”, Voulin has said. /Periscopi/
