Russia's “Federata has sold to Serbia six MIG-29 fighter planes, which were out of use. Besides presenting this act as aiding for allied Serbia, thus manipulating Serbian taxpayers, the Kremlin has managed to fill the budget in time of crisis”, ʹ has told Kosovo Press a Serbian official, part of the SNS (Serbia Progressive Party), during the time the Security Forum was being held in Belgrade.

Kosovas publishes the data received by this official, saving his anonymity on purpose, because as he said, the true “the battle for stopping Russian influence in the Balkans is done in Serbia, and being in Serbia is dangerous”.

Although, during the time the Security Forum was being held in the Serbian capital, Russian influence and the resolution of the knot with Kosovo were set up as almost key issues, the co-ordinator named these two closely related themes.

Serbia's “President Aleksandar Vuciq is a personality that seems to have decided to send Serbia to the European Union, but within the government of Serbia there are powerful people who are closely associated with the Kremlin structures in Moscow. Their electoral power in Serbia is not great, but their real power comes from Moscow. And, this Vucinqi well knows”, the Serbian SNS official has said, while Jelena Miliq, connoisseur of Serb-Russian circumstances in Belgrade, agreed.

According to him, buying broken planes testifies to the Serbian state's secretivity towards Russia, without seeing the Serbian citizen's interest.

“Blear of MIG-29 aircraft is an open testimony that Russia does not love Serbia and does not help it. The way this informative purchase, completely under the dictate of power, is out of the question. Most of those with little knowledge know that the amount for the purchase of these planes, which amounts to 190m euros, greatly influences the quality of the Serbian citizen's lifestyle. Those broken planes, paid by our taxes”, he stressed.

On this subject, Petar Vojinovic, editor of a portal on airspace issues, has said that some of the planes Serbia has purchased from Russia, the time of 30 years of use, appeared in 2019, and some in 2021. As he says, they can only be used 2-3 years.

He says the concern of Serbs who are close to the EU is that Serbia does not need such a large number of planes, even those in regular condition, and leave them as they are.

If we bought the MIGA for protection, the question from whom are we being attacked? And I believe that if it is to be protected by someone, then Serbian pilots who freeze these planes in the air should protect themselves, because their condition is very bad. This situation is not being discussed. This poses danger to our pilot”, he said.

A year ago, Russian planes were said to be “gift” from Russia. They arrived at Batajnica Airport in Belgrade without remonting, while they became available for test flight only in mid-2018.

Jelena Miliq, director of the Centre for Euro-Atlantic Studies in Belgrade, which monitors Serbia-Russia relations, is very critical of Russian influence in Serbia.

The longer the arrival of Serbia's Kosovo agreement is delayed, the longer the period of Russia's intervention in the region, which enables the existence of even a neural clause Russia can use for its own interests. This is known much in Serbia, while buying military equipment from Russia may affect relations with the US due to sanctions Washington has imposed and because of Russia's involvement in Ukraine, as well as the involvement in partner countries' internal affairs”, Miliq has said.

According to a study that Milic has made Serbian-Russian relations, it turns out that Russia has always exploited Serbia for its own interests. And according to her, this is historically evidence when it is known that at the expense of Serbia, Russians once gave Bulgarians Serbian land, including Nis.

The Serbian official, who remains anonymous, once co-party of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, has passed a message for the first of Serbia.

Aleksandar Vuchciqi must clear the government of the prorus. The decision on this will not be easy, because the Russians have stretched a lot of influence on local politicians. But the Serbian people are designated for the road to Brussels. They no longer see Moscow as their orientation some former radicals. With Putin, only the corrupt are tied up, some politicians who are essentially worthless, corrupt and responsible for war crimes”, Vuciqi's co-party said in the exclusive declaration for Kosovo Preress during the time the Security Forum was being held in Belgrade.

The deputy minister of the Kosovo Security Force, which is expected to become the defence minister, Burim Ramadani, has told Kosovo that “are reported that Serbia is supplied with weapons from Russia and that they also know Russia is not a producer that is to receive greed in the”.

“Well, despite old, non-Qualative weapons, with these inflows Russia increases its influence, paying for false news, raising propagandistic and intelligence capacities, causing confusion for Euroscepticism and ideological orientation in the Balkans”, he said.

Ramadani says the issue of Russian influence has been raised as one of the most important in the entire Balkans. But it stresses that despite great efforts to stop Montenegro's membership in NATO, even proving the murder of Montenegrin leader Milo Djukanovic, the Russians went out as losers and Montenegro became the youngest member NATO.

The “Pincidently confirmed this later on in Skopje, and the country will soon become part of NATO. The joint remains in Serbia, while Serbs love Europe and not Russia, which offers nothing, except to harvest the Serbian taxpayers, by selling off aircraft, that the victim can only become young Serb men who are pilots of the Serbian Army”, has finished deputy prime minister Ramadani.
