Ramaj: Bars in uncontrolled Kosovo, laboratory not functioning

Saranda Ramaj, researcher from the “Institute Columbus” said that it must be functional in the laboratory that does drug analysis in the country.

Speaking of verifying the essential drug list, Ramaj has said that “this is just the list of wishes”.

At the Express Interview on KTV, Ramaj has said the drug budget has steadily increased, but supply has declined in the country due to multiple abuses.

“Krahas budget growth is dropping supply with drugs. There have been abuses that occurred in the past two years. Without budget growth every year, but the supply percentage was weaker than before. MSH has been prone to postwar abuse as part of drug abuse. The strongest weapon is prescribed for medicine because it may be low - paying abuse. Barnats are the most problematic field for MSH. Even today there are problems with the” supply, she said.

She also added that with Kosovars becoming a type of <x0-experiment” because there are in the country cytostatics that have just passed clinical stages, but not know how they operate in patients as well. Ramaj has estimated that Kosovo has numerous legal gaps that enable the sale of certain drugs far more expensive than their real price.

Speaking of the quality of drugs, Ramaj has said doctors are being forced to triple doses so that some drugs can have the right effect. That's because there's no guarantee of their drugs and quality in the country.

The quality of drugs has been placed in trust with companies that bring them to Kosovo from China, and we believe they are safe. Kosovo does analysis because the lab doesn't work. This is the main recommendation because you can't have a good essential list because you put in parallel drugs. He wins the freest market, even though it doesn't have a good effect. I hope the MSH gets the recommendation”, she said.

As far as the Health Information Service goes, Ramaj has said he's been mismanaged. She has added that there are workers who deliberately sabotage the system in order to escape control, while she has mentioned tenders for what she has expressed her conviction that there have been numerous abuses.
