NATO is showing its muscles two months after the “Vosto-2018x1> maneuvered by Russia in September to the far east and considered the largest military maneuvers in Russian history, writes ASTH.
“We must prove that we are able to protect and demonstrate our unity”, American Admiral James Gordon Foggo, chief commander of these maneuvers, said today during a press conference at NATO headquarters in Brussels.
About 500,000 soldiers, 150 planes, 60 ships and about 10,000 vehicles are engaged in these land maneuvers and amphibes. They will begin on 25 October and end on 7 November.
