MF says World Bank ready to respond to Kosovo requirements

He made these comments during his meeting with Finance Minister Bedri Hamza during his visit to regular annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
According to the Ministry's media report, Hamza briefed Mueller on positive developments in Kosovo with particular emphasis on economy and finance trends, deficit, public debt, and the 2019 budget preparation process.
The minister also announced World Bank Vice President Cyril Mueller for a new implementation dynamism, which the Ministry of Finance has developed in terms of agreements the World Bank has in the past with the state of Kosovo, as well as new agreements that this year on behalf of the state of Kosovo has signed that in the short term, have been ratified in local institutions”, the report said.
“No doubt these projects will help our economic development and influence the social welfare of every citizen in Kosovo. Likewise, the minister said he has the will and is willing to enter new projects which will help Kosovo do business, such as the Trade and Regional Transport Relief Project, which will begin this phase with Macedonia and Albania, Kosovo is ready to join this” project, the MF communiqué said.
“Co-operation has always been excellent with Kosovo, and I am happy that even in your mandate this co-operation is only deepening”, Mueller said, on the other hand, the notice by the MF.
