Kosovo's “Institutions have worked hard to meet all criteria and now is the time to complete visa liberalisation”, McAllister has said, adding that there are countries that still have doubts about it.

McAllister has also affected the issue of EU enlargement for the Balkans, adding that most European Parliament members support the enlargement process “for all six Western Balkan countries”, which has said there is a European perspective.
