Thai businessman was on board on the personal helicopter, who lost control in the car parking lot outside the King Power Stadium after the West Ham game on Premier League, broadcast Koha.net.
With deep sorrow and broken heart, we confirm that our chairman, Vichai Sriwaddddaprabha, was among those who suffered a tragic death Saturday evening when the helicopter, which carried him and four others, collapsed outside the King Power Stadium. None of the five on board survived. All thoughts are with the Srivadhaprabha family and the families of the victims who were on board at this time which is unfathomable”, said the English club's statement.
The 60-year-old, who had founded the company “Keeping Power Duty Free”, bought Leicester in August 2010, and six months later became president of the club.
In his possession, Leicester had entered Premier League in 2014 to win the title in the 2015/16 season, which is one of Premier League's greatest surprises.
