The chairman of the LDK branch in Kline opened the meeting, Mr. Fadil Gashi thanks to the chairmanship for the visit.
As the LDK reports, Gashi has said that the LDK branch headship in Kline supports the LDK chairmanship stance and that members of the branch will mobilise and co-ordinate activities with party bodies for future engagement.
On behalf of the LDK leadership, Kline's branch facilities have been addressed to LDK Secretary General Ismet Beqiri, who has spoken about the current situation in Kosovo, has expressed the LDK's stance on dialogue, formation of Armed Forces and new elections.
He has said the LDK believes open issues between Kosovo and Serbia can only be resolved through dialogue, the LDK supports dialogue and that it has already formed the working group for the platform of dialogue, which the group will provide clear frameworks on how to proceed further with dialogue.
Beqiri has expressed LDK's readiness for new elections so that the dialogue is guided by the constitutional institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and legitimate institutions elected by the vote of Kosovo citizens in early elections, as these institutions have lost political power and civic legitimacy. Also, the LDK opposes changing borders with Serbia, in any case where the country's territory, integrity and sovereignty are violated.
He has also voiced position that the LDK supports the formation of Armed Forces in co-operation with our permanent allies. US and other European states, and as the bill passes to the Kosovo Assembly LDK votes.
“Beqiri has indicated that the LDK is a party of values, is a party of three generations, their resistance makes the LDK a party of particular value; The LDK cannot think without the old generation, founders and hostessors for years, the LDK cannot be thought of without the middle and new generation; to strengthen the deserved role of women, is a party that has come up with ideas among three generations, but first of all is a party that is founded and built based on state philosophy of President Historical President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova. All these assets make the LDK today the largest party, with the largest parliamentary group and the first in all polls because it is the vote of citizens' trust in the values of the Democratic League of Kosovo.
