For five months, five Kosovo Assembly sessions have remained unfinished in the absence of needed quorum, while only one has finished overall.
That's what “Zen” legislature work monitors, who suggest that this institution has not yet been able to complete the session launched with several points from the agenda.
Agnes Haxhiu, from the Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI), has told “Zerin” that the Assembly has been dysfunctional since the spring session of the work of this institution.
Kosovo's “Convention has been dysfunctional since the spring session of this institution's work as a result of problems with ensuring the quorum needed for voting laws. For lack of quantum five sessions have remained unfinished since June of this year, and where final adoption of several independent laws and reports of annual institutions that have failed to vote due to lack of quorum”, Haxhiu has said.
