SIAL 2018 is the world's largest food and drink fair, where about 7,200 businesses from 120 countries in the world expose their products.
This year, Kosovo at this prestigious fair held in Paris is represented by 10 companies of the biggest food producers, and that Frutomania, ABI, Devolli Co., Water Rugova, Eurofood, Agroum, Old Bodrum, Elkos ( Pi&Ki) and Frutex.
Ministry of Trade and Industry K, respectively IESA has supported the presence of Kosovo companies at this financial fair, while the owners and representatives of these companies expressed satisfaction that the Government of Kosovo, in this case, MTI, have made it possible to present their companies at SIP, with which the doors of co-operation with other companies from around the world have been opened.
Deputy Prime Minister Dardan Gashi, on behalf of the Kosovo government, expressed extremely satisfied with the presence of companies and promised continued and greater support at other fairs.
We have a very quality product which deserves to be exported as much as possible. The Kosovo government will be near local producers now and in the future, in hopes that in the next four days as long as this fair lasts, our companies will sign as many contracts with foreign export companies as possible. Our work and support, on the other hand, will not stop with so much”, Gashi said.
Gashi also visited a production company from Albania, which was lonely had exposed its products, since the Albanian government has not been represented at the state level and has not provided support to local producers.
On the other hand, Kosovo companies that have exposed their products and activities at the fair expressed gratitude for the government that has financially helped by paying for all the space that they use at SAL.
The representative from the company “Frutex” expressed satisfaction with the help offered to represent this prestigious fair. “It is good opportunity for us to be present here because through contacts and meetings we are also able to sign various export agreements”, they said.
Otherwise, other companies without exception expressed gratitude for the MTI, and all of Kosovo's government for the support offered.
