KEDS has started with digitising the electrical network in Kosovo, monitoring and controlling the network digitally. This is enabled by the SCADA Sisem, which operates through the Pristina headquarters, equipped with the latest word technology.

Installation of this project, where KEDS is investing 4m euros, means there will be fewer power stops. In the event of a defect, digitalization is designed to reduce consumers' energy to a much less efficient level, as the system allows for great efficiency, greatly cutting intervention time.

Computers, tablets, or mobile phones can view complete network operation and intervene if any need is presented. These include the eventual stops in case of any unexpected or abnormalities caused by external factors.

In addition to cutting stops and operating maximum efficiency, losses will be reduced. This directly means that consumers will have more quality, safer services and more stable tension.

The project has initially started in 20 substations across Kosovo to be delivered to as short a course of time as possible throughout the entire power grid.

With SCADA, the digitalisation of the power grid in Kosovo begins. This shows the dedication and approach of KED to make the most of Kosovo consumers through investments in the latest word of technology.

The size of this system is expected to be seen these days.

Parale with this system, KEDS has strongly continued further investments in medium and low tension. Currently, some new 20kV substations are in finalisation, with thousands of consumers at stake.

At the same time, powerful investments are being invested in dozens of low - tension locations, where the entire new network is being replaced completely with the new one, putting in hundreds of new trafostacts, like thousands of miles of conveying tens of thousands of electrical poles.
