KDS completes two major projects in Rahoveci municipality

A whole new power grid has installed KEDS in the municipality of Rahovec, thus creating energy stability for residents of this section.

With the completion of these two projects called TS The municipality and Rahoveci V, the city of Rahovec, has removed the old electrical network and, with the new network established, has solved the energy problem for the next 50 years.

In most of the city, new underground ruins have been installed, as ormanes are located all over the neighborhood. But in some areas, new air grids have also been established, adapted to ground conditions. Thus, danger has been lifted and security has increased for the inhabitants of Rahovez.

For Project Rahoveci 5 KEDS has deployed a 1,000-kVA transformer with power and mainly underground cables, both for lower tension and middle tension and some concrete pillars. The number of beneficiaries is 209.

Agim Cafexhi, chairman of the Rahoveci municipality's Bureau and Trade Association, which exercises the glass-making profession, says he now easily does his job.

With this project that KEDS has made, the benefits are 100 percent. Two cars have been burned before by the unstable current behind us. Now the current is even stronger with underground cables and the city looks more beautiful. In the business I do, it's a lot easier for me to work”, says Caffei.

The pensioner, Hilmi Raba, says the same. He says that the residents of Rahovec deserve these changes because they are also regular electricity taxpayers.

It's already done. The motivation for paying energy is even greater. We thank KEDS so much. I get my pension on the 24th, and I pay my turn”, Raba said.

Residents do not forget to mention the swift service of KEDS workers.

Every time we call at KED offices for any service, they respond quickly and are not expected to do things in time and properly,” concludes Raba.

As for the TS Komuna project, KEDS has established two transformatators -- one with 1,000 kVA powers and the other with powers of 400 kVA. Most of the subterranean networks have been installed in these parts of the city as well, but in some countries even the air carrier, thus belonging to the ground.

A total of 360 consumers have benefited. Contented with these energy changes, residents of this part of the city also express themselves.

Murat Morina, owner of the oven “Pistrik”, says that we now have our work equipment secure.

We've seen this project before. The work cars often broke down that the current was frequently and unexpectedly swept away. Now we don't fear cars and have them safe for work. We don't even have wires on the ground. With this job that you've done has increased security for people crossing the street, ” said Morina.

KEDS continues to invest throughout the territory of Kosovo. Investments are made mainly in countries where the company has inherited the old network. This process will continue until the network has standard parameters and modern equipment.
