Ismail Kadare with a special message about Fatos Arp's death

The prominent Albanian writer Ismail Kadare has praised Fatos Arp's life and work as “a life and dramatic creativity extended into the two ages of”, which according to him “will be unique and precious in the long chronice of Albanian literature”.

Ismail Kadare's full message:

After the departure of Light Agoll Albanian literature has more and more difficult other, painful losses like Fatos Arap. Important writer with a life and dramatic creativity stretched across the two ages, Fatos Arapi, friend and dear colleague, became an integral part of the Albanian literary calendar of the XX and XXI centuries. His artistic testimony will be unique and precious in the long chronicle of Albanian literature.

Fatos Arap was today separated from his life at the age of 89. It belongs to the generation of prominent 20th century writers, a poet and a deep proservator, who has left a lasting impression on Albanian literature.
