The 20 imams selected by the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK), following their verification by the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), have initiated legalisation in Kosovo prisons with the aim of eegigising prisoners.
20 immations selected by the Islamic Community of Kosovo have started legalisation in Kosovo prisons with the aim of eegigating prisoners. Their legalisation in prisons has come after the signing of the co-operation agreement for “realising the rehabilitation and reintegration of imprisoned persons” between the Ministry of Justice (MD) and the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) in May of this year.
News of the launch of this process has made it known to “Zen” officials of the Kosovo Correcting Service (SHKK). Kosovo Information Official (SHKK), Jeton Kabashi, has said legalisation has begun, but has not provided more details.
We inform you that the process of religious counseling by imams has begun, but since we are still at the beginning of the process, we will surely inform you in the near future in detail”, Kabashi said.
