According to Kosovo Police statistics in the January-September period of this year 90 people have lost their lives as a result of road communications accidents, of which 17 pedestrians, 35 drivers and 38 passengers.
According to the IKSHP so far, very little has been undertaken in preventing them.

The National Institute gives the following RECOMANDMENTS:

As the new school year begins, the issue of children's safety in communications becomes sensitive by organising educational clocks for conduct of pedestrians in communications, systematic learning of communications rules.
The immediate departure of old vehicles from circulation, rigorous technical control of all vehicles.
Regular, periodic, and complementary medical examinations with rigorous mental health assessment of drivers who have committed serious consecutive offenses.
To regulate road infrastructure, to become road maintenance, to complete signaling and rigorous compliance with car parking rules.
Automotive management accurately adhere to signs of communication and the code of civil courtesy.
Rigorous inspection of autoschools and drivers' licenses criteria.
