Hoti: The idea of border correction is creating uncertainty in communities

The head of the LDK Parliamentary Group, Avdullah Hoti, has directly accused President Hashim Thaci of trying to finalise the idea of reforming the borders, has influenced minority communities not to feel secure in Kosovo and reject the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.

According to him, Kosovo will take time to restore the trust of all Kosovo citizens that there is no change of border, there is no division of Kosovo, and that their future is safe in Kosovo.

The current president's unconstitutional integration into border correction has damaged our efforts for two decades to build a state where citizens of all communities feel secure about their future. The president's commitment has added reluctance to the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo on the part of several communities.
