The Kosovo government has decided to allocate two million and 600 thousand euros for compensation of overtime work by Kosovo police officers.
At today's executive meeting, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said a country's police in no way dare remain unpaid.
Haradinaj has indicated that they had long ago closed a portion of the obligations.
The Kosovo Police request for additional budgetary hours is worth 2m and 600 thousand euros for compensation of working hours after hours. This decision had to go into effect at the moment of signing. This is the final act. We have already concluded a portion of the covenant. The state should take care of its own officers, not its debt. A state that doesn't pay its own police, then let's close the record”, the prime minister said.
